    About Matan:

Matan Boltax, a 23-year-old Israeli-American, was born in New York and moved to Israel in 2009. He served in one of the IDF’s main infantry brigades until 2022 and has spent the past two years traveling, working, and preparing for college. After his speaking tour in the United States, Matan will begin his studies in Ramat Gan, near Tel Aviv.

On October 7th, Matan attended the Nova Music Festival with friends. After staying late at the festival grounds, Matan narrowly escaped a massacre, fleeing through nearby farmland and hiding for 10 hours in a small town called Tekuma. His miraculous survival has fueled his passion for sharing his story to raise awareness and inspire unity.

In his free time, Matan enjoys playing softball, attending music festivals, and swimming.

Don’t miss this extraordinary evening of strength and resilience.
